How you feel: The energy you create to achieve results, is triggered or fed by how you think.
Try this: Imagine somebody you like... respect coming into your office now, take a few moments to
see their face, hear their voice... see what they’re wearing; what do you notice; are you smiling, are you |
Neither is actually in the room, but
your thought process has caused you
to feel differently... to want to act or behave differently towards them thus driving your results; what’s going on?
You’ve just gone through a ‘think-feel-act’ or effectiveness cycle that people go through hundreds of times per day, |

Now think of the ‘last person on earth’ you’d want to see right now;
how does that feel... check your body do you have a tight feeling in
your stomach, a lump in your throat... are you frowning?
What’s just happened? Well, you’ve had an emotional and energetic |
without paying the slightest bit of attention to it; so is it any wonder that effectiveness, enjoyment... success suffers?!

How you think: When you get down to basics, it turns out that you and I have beliefs or rules, if you like, that outline what you believe is possible, what’s important to you... how you see and make sense of the world you operate in daily e.g. |

Ok, let’s cut to the chase: how do these drivers really work; what are they going to do for you... for your effectiveness, satisfaction levels... personal... company success? |

For you, success may mean helping others develop their careers, to another it’s about having nice cars, houses… holidays.
Now, it’s easy to get hung up on ‘personality profiling’ people to try and explain why but actually, at the grass roots level where you create lasting changes, fundamentals show that we all have a map in our head, a map that very precisely defines how you see the world and interact with it. |
How you act: Think of this ‘last person on earth’ again and imagine them asking you to do task ‘x’; on a 0-10 scale where 0 is ‘You’d rather stick pins in your...’ how much do you want to do ‘x’, honestly! |
Well, we’ve begun the process with this little bit of insight into what’s really going on with people; insight that affects everybody no matter where you are in your career or how much success you already have.
